Gosh, I am damn sleepy! Now is already 2.00am in the morning.
I've been spent few days to edit Kuching Day 2 pics, this is another blog with lots of lots of pics!! I'm kind of person who likes to put almost every pic in my blog, haha. Don't care la.
OK, here comes the time to put my memory on test, fuuuuuuuuu~
Day 2 we've a lot of pics cause me &
Alysha been walking Kuching town one half day, under the hot hot sun! This was the day they said have eclipse, I didn't see any, just know the sky got suddenly become cloudy for few sec, was that eclipse?
WATERFRONT

Our journey started by walking along the souvenir shops at Waterfront.

Waterfront. The crocodile by the Sarawak River eventually reminds me of Siem Reap, ah~

1. I ya..... forgot what is that building already, haha.
*Update* This is castle, if not mistaken.
2. The pagoda like building at the back is the new Parliament in Kuching, still under construction.
3. The walk. Nice design.

Clearer view.

There was some exhibition held nearby Waterfront, conjunction of Regatta (did I spell correct?). Regatta is Sarawak boat competiton, that's all I know.

Don't even noticed
Alysha was taking me taking pics, hehe.

That white fortress is a heritage building, still maintain well. Now I know why Kuching been honour as Clean City. They really maintain the gardens, parks, heritage buildings well.
The lower pic is something like a monument for Charles Brooke.
OLD COURT HOUSE

Gosh, I really can't remember almost all the places I've been to, I just knew this is a nice place to take pics.
Alysha's wedding pics was taken here too.
*Update* Alysha just told me here is called Old Court House.

Alysha suggest me how to pose, she wanna take so called artistic photo. Too bad she got herself a lousy model. I eventually looked like a siao zha bo who smilling herself.

Kuso time! I asked Alysha to take that broom and act like a witch, here's a trendy witch. Thought witch suppose to be evil, haha.

There was a huge tree nearby the pillars place. Nice, took it by my handphone then photoshop it again.
CHINESE MUSEUM & TUA PEK GONG TEMPLE
Went to a Chinese Museum later. Cameras are not allowed in museum. We were shocked by the dummy that stand at the entrance way, it looked so dodgy! It would probably be scary if saw during night!

Tua Pek Gong Temple is just side by side. You know all these heritage buildings + Waterfront are actually walking distance from each other.

Tua Pek Gong Temple.
CARPENTER STREET
Stopped by Jalan Carpenter to have lunch.

Try to take pics with traffic police. They blocking the road along Waterfront due to Regatta.
TEMPLES
Some of the temples nearby. I saw Kuching is really different from West Malaysia. There are chinese words on their street nameplate.

This is really artistic, I like it. Neh, my photographer
Alysha lo, if you interested I can ask her to contact you, haha.

Saw kitties and their mama by random walking, cute la~
HARBOUR VIEW HOTEL
This is Harbour View Hotel. Nothing special about it, just Aki stayed here before,
Alysha very excited and asked me take pic here, hehe.

We were waiting for Paul (Alysha hubby) to fetch us bac home to rest a while. Alysha said this pic looked like I'm going to the beach. Ya, with bikini given by her and Jikey le, hehe.
Alysha - the famous blogger at Kuching, even ice cream man also knew her. She is like go anywhere also got people know her.
MUSEUMS & AQUARIUM
After rest and a cool cool shower, we headed to Museums. Kuching really plan their town well, even Museums also built side by side, just cross a pedestrian bridge there's another museum. Actually Paul suggest to go Museum.

Sarawak boat outside the museum. Talking about the museum, there was one museum with many animals specimen. Me and Alysha was discussing about whether the animals are real or just dummy. Since I spotted a Orang Utan specimen with gu-gu, so I guess it should be real, haha. There were also two sets of Whale skeleton, they were found by the beach of Sarawak long long long long time ago. Sigh, wonder are there still any whales at Malaysia's sea territory.

Is not me big lo, is
Alysha small!

Lousy model of the year.

Lousy or not, but I like wo.

Pedestrian bridge outside the museum.
And surprisingly there was a aquarium outside the museum, cool huh.

I don't know this is Dolphin or Dugong. Sarawak river used to have Irrawady Dolphin, but now is very rare.

Do you see croc?

Can see now? There was a joke about croc. It goes like this : what animal knock two time will die? Answer : Crocodile (kok kok die). Lame hor. Don't know who think one.

You wanna say me hiao, or say me hao lian, I don't care, but I like this pic le.

There were tortise inside the glass cage.

Jooyee +
Alysha : Lost? Come, we show you where is your location now.
Paul : mm, good, thank you.

This crafted rock outside the museum, Alysha said is natural rock like this, I eventually believe, but then she said : No la, tipu you one. Duhhhh, why sometimes I so stupid?

Alysha acting cute, is funny!

She asked me to do the same, but I am lousy in this, I'd never act cute cause I never been cute. Cute is certainly not my style.

At least this one turn out good, hahahaha~

Taking pic with Paul is not easy, he would stand far far away and be your background figure. For example :

Poor guy looked like he beeing lost, haha.

Finally~~
There were something creepy about this park. You know what, there are tomb randomly placed in this park. When I saw it I don't dare to say anything, but asked
Alysha to confirm is this a park? She said yes, then I just kept quiet. Creepy la~
SARAWAK RIVER
After museum, Paul suggest maybe we drove to
Bako jetty. Instead they know the way to Bako, but they don't really know the exact location of Bako. Talking about
Bako, this is the place I most looking forward when travel to Kuching.
Bako is one of the National Parks of Kuching. But the boat fare were pretty expensive, and no one seems to interested, guess I have burst my dream, sigh.
Instead of Bako, we just stopped by the river cause having no idea where is
Bako.

This river makes me think of Loch Ness le. It's a huge river!
KUCHING FEST PARADE
Later we went back to Alysha's parents' Ice Kacang stall to have some drinks. And I was told there was a parade hold that day. There were school kids dressed in traditional custom, take pics with them. Some of the school girl are so hiao, I don't know la, just felt they were over acting.

Just noticed this chubby girl looks cute, hehe.

And there were doggies in the parade too. I am a cat person, but saw these cute doggies, I can't resist la.

The Shi Tzu looked like CJ7 hor, haha.

Us with doggies. The Chi Hua Hua is so damn cute!! He is so tiny, really tiny. Awww.

Jooyee : Hi, Husky~
Husky : My name is not Husky la.
Jooyee : Come take pic la.
Husky : Cheh, not pretty one. Don't want la.
(Chow husky)
This pity Husky was abandoned by his owner, haha. No la, the owner tied him on a tree, then himself don't know wet to where already. If still no come, I'll claim the dog!

I spotted this huge dog earlier, I really like them. I like huge dogs, they are cool! Toy poodle are too common, sien lo.
KUCHING FOOD FAIR FESTIVAL
August seems to be a month of happening in Kuching, they got Food Fair Fest held on August every year. There are various of booth selling all sorts of food, e.g. roasted bird, haha. And have you ever ate chicken skin satay? Locals called it Satay Kulit. Before I ate it I thought it would be crispy like KFC chicken skin, haha. But it turn out is soft and juicy, eeewwwwww. Sorry no offence, but I really don't think it taste well with that kind of texture. I don't eat soft and juicy chicken skin, it felt like chewing something funny in my mouth.

There are really alot of booths!! See until I blur also, and people everywhere. We walked from booth to booth, and ended up only bought roasted bird and Satay Kulit. Too many options, really don't know what to buy, and lazy to Q too. I would have go crazy if this is a MNG sales booth!

Here comes my favorite roasted bird, haha. RM3.50 for one bird, expensive or not? Wonder they catch the bird from Thailand or the bird flew from Thailand, poor birdie.
MEAL OF THE DAY
Breakfast - Sarawak Laksa, early early morning ate Laksa, haha. Sarawak Laksa taste different from KL or Penang one. It still have the sour taste, but I think it taste like mixture of curry + laksa with lots of prawns. Overall, is YUMMY! Ya, everything for me is yummy.

Lunch - Kolo Mee! Second Kolo Mee for my Kuching stay. Was having it at Lau Ya Keng, Jalan Carpenter. This Kolo mee is very curly and cute (haha, food also cute), but a bit too oily la.

Evening snack - haha, sounds funny hor. This is Belacan Beehon + White Lady. The beehon is nice, I though belacan beehon is a cold dish, but is actually served in warm, and sweet! Nice! White Lady, one of the drink at Alysha's mama stall, cure of my day, you know how hot is Kuching?? Without ice cold drink + short pants I think I can hardly survive lo.

Dinner - BBQ for dinner. If I know Kuching is that hot, I wouldn't had suggest Alysha to have BBQ. Har~~~~ I tell you Kuching is like 2 times hotter than KL (I felt la.) I took the Satay Kulit to roast again until it turn into really crispy, ya, that's my type of Satay Kulit. Paul had spent about 1 hour time to set up the fire!
Phewwwww~ Pics finished, for the 2nd day! This entry were sort of un-organised maybe (but my blog entry had never been organised in fact), I am totally blur when writing this entry. I am so sleepy man. Today had been going to Body Combat class without having lunch, all my energy had been burst out! Now my back up battery also almost finished, so Bye~
